At a recent signing, former NXT Superstar Scarlett Bordeaux shut down any speculation surrounding a return to IMPACT! Wrestling.
The Smoke Show was among several names shockingly let go from WWE earlier this year. Bordeaux played a vital role in the success of Karrion Kross in NXT and looked to be in consideration for a main roster debut after competing in a SmackDown dark match. However, that never came to fruition and she was released from her contract.
Since her departure, Bordeaux has been busy taking signings and independent bookings, but it seems as though IMPACT! is not a destination on her list.
Speaking during a virtual signing hosted by K & S WrestleFest, Scarlett revealed that a return to her former wrestling home is not on the cards:
“We’re not going back there. We’re not going back there. No.”
Bordeaux and her husband, Killer Kross were both in IMPACT! prior to signing to NXT. During her time in the promotion, she completed in a number of intergender matches most notably against Disco Inferno and Rohit Raju.
The relationship with the promotion ended badly as both requested their release due to a dispute about pay.
