NWA World Women’s Champion Serena Deeb will be making her return at the very least by the companies next pay-per-view event. When Our Shadows Fall will take place on June 6 and Deeb’s name appears in the press release. Along with her are Kamille, Thunder Rosa, Melina, and Taryn Terrell.
Deeb won the NWA World Women’s Title when she defeated Thunder Rosa at a UWN/NWA Primetime Live event in October. Since then she has defended her title against Rosa, Allysin Kay, and Tay Conti. She is officially signed with AEW.
The champion has been out of action since February and in March she said she had to have her knee scoped. Since her absence, NWA has kicked its product back into gear and she has a new challenger for her belt. Kamille became number one contender when she defeated Thunder Rosa at Back for the Attack. Rosa has been on the hunt to get revenge on Kamille from that loss ever since.
