The ROH promotion has been hot lately as the introduction to Women’s Division Wednesdays and the Quest for Gold tournament that just wrapped up has brought many eyes to the company. Rok-C is the new ROH Women’s World Champion starting off a new lineage and refreshing the division. One woman who was not included in the tournament was Session Moth Martina who has been in the UK and hasn’t been able to make it back to the states just yet.
She participated in a Three-Way match at a Wrestle Carnival/Ring of Honor co-event named Carnival of Honor. The bout included Alexxis Falcon and Heidi Katrina. Despite Falcon and Katrina trying to double team on Martina, the ROH talent picked up the win. The match can be watched on ROH Week by Week in the video below.
Also at this event that took place on Sept. 12, Gisele Shaw defeated Kasey Owens and Hyan defeated Alex Windsor to retain her Heart of SHIMMER Championship. This was the first time this title for SHIMMER was defended outside of the United States and now all of the titles in SHIMMER have done so. SHIMMER is returning on Oct 31 for their first shows in a year. More on that when matches get announced.
Wrestle Carnival’s next show PURE is on Oct. 9 and Alex Windsor will be taking on IMPACT’s Jordynne Grace, Mercedez Blaze will battle Rhio, and things get truly personal as Jetta takes on Charlie Morgan.
As for ROH’s Women’s Division Wednesday, the two women who were alternates for the Quest for Gold tournament will face off. Brandi Lauren fights Laynie Luck tonight.
