Though she retired as a full time competitor, Trish Stratus would never stray too far away from her loyal WWE fans. Whenever she’d get the itch, WWE would always be there with open arms for her to come back. And she did. Many times.

It all started in December 2007, more than a year after her initial retirement, when she and Lita returned to Raw for the show’s 15th anniversary. Then a year later, Trish competed in her first match in over two years, teaming with John Cena against Beth Phoenix and Santino Marella in the main event of Raw in her hometown. The match was proof that Trish hadn’t lost her touch and could still Chick Kick with the best of ’em.

In 2009, Trish served as guest host of Raw in Canada and again tangled in the ring with Beth Phoenix in a six-person tag team match.

wm27resultsAfter more than a year away, Trish made her most lengthy comeback to date — both as a trainer on WWE’s revival of Tough Enough and as a competitor at WrestleMania 27, where she, John Morrison and Jersey Shore star Snooki emerged victorious in a six-person match.

Yes, Trish has never strayed too far from the WWE Universe, and through her endeavors outside of wrestling — including a successful yoga business, 95 magazine covers under her belt and an acting career just beginning to take off — this astute businesswoman continues to set the example for WWE’s female stars past, present and future as the greatest Diva ambassador the company has ever had. You see, when Trish does well outside of wrestling, it reflects well on WWE that one of their alumni is making waves for positive reasons.

What the future holds after her Hall of Fame induction remains to be seen, but no doubt Trish will continue to Stratusfy.
