On Sunday, Shayna Baszler returned to GCW’s Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport in the main event to take on Miyu Yamashita. This was Yamashita’s first appearance but Baszler’s second as she defeated TNA’s Masha Slamovich in April.
The match ended in TKO with the final moments involving Yamashita connected with a question mark kick and went for another one, but Baszler countered and briefly locked in an ankle lock. Yamashita broke free of the hold to get a kick to Baszler’s head. Baszler was prepared for the following kick and hit Yamashita with a tombstone for the finish.
Elsewhere at this event, Masha Slamovich defeated Jody Threat. The two TNA Knockouts who are very familiar with one another took it to Bloodsport.
Final moments included Threat getting back to her feet as she connected with some head butts. Slamovich wasn’t phased enough by this as she suplexed Threat and hit her with a running knee for the TKO.
