Former Diva & Knockout, Shelly Martinez is still campaigning for a return to TNA, it has been reported. Last month, we reported that Martinez was asking fans to tweet TNA President Dixie Carter to bring her back but now, Martinez herself has taken matters into her own hands.
PWInsider reports that Martinez has pitched the idea of her being a manager to Shannon Moore. She has also reportedly sent pictures to the company, presumably to Director of Talent Relations Terry Taylor, of her trashing a replica of the WWE Women’s Championship [ala Alundra Blayze] while wearing very little.
Martinez was originally with TNA in 2007 through 2008 as part of LAX under the name Salinas.
Do we need another manager/valet? Given that the Knockouts division has lost several talents in the past couple of months, it’s my belief that their priority should be on signing new wrestlers for the division. If Martinez is interested in that aspect, then great and I hope it works out for her.
