The all-female wrestling indie promotion, SHIMMER, is celebrating 15-years since they opened its doors. In those fifteen years, they have brought fans 118 Volumes of hard-hitting wrestling with an average of about 10+ matches per show.
A total of 10 women have climbed the top of the mountain and have held the SHIMMER Championship throughout the years. Since then two more titles (SHIMMER Tag Team & Heart of SHIMMER) have been added to the organization due to the incredible overflow of talent on its roster.
SHIMMER has been a mainstay for many indie stars and ring veterans such as Sara Del Rey, Cheerleader Melissa, LuFisto, MsChif, Allysin Kay, Madison Eagles and the current SHIMMER Champion Kimber Lee just to name a few. Nicole Savoy is the longest reigning SHIMMER Champion in its history at 721-days.
They have also been a home for many wrestlers who went on to bigger companies and have become household names for the fans of this industry. Names such as Mercedes Martinez, Rosemary, Allie, Billie Kay, Nikki Cross, Ruby Riott, Asuka, Ember Moon, Dakota Kai, and many more have spent a lot of time on the independent scene before reaching their current success.
