Next Friday will see SHINE Wrestling return to iPPV for SHINE 26, headlined by a massive Title vs. Title match.
The main event pits SHINE Champion Mia Yim against NWA Women’s Champion Santana Garrett.
Also booked for the show is a brutal No DQ tag match in which Havok and Leva Bates will team up to take on Saraya Knight and Su Yung.
The final match announced so far is a tag match pitting Jayme Jameson and Marti Belle against Crazy Mary Dobson and Solo Darling.
Also scheduled to appear are new SHINE Tag Team Champions Cherry Bomb and Kimber Lee, SHIMMER Tag Team Champion Kellie Skater, Madison Eagles, Allysin Kay, Kay Lee Ray, Nikki Storm, La Rosa Negra, Evie and Shazza McKenzie.
Notably absent is Leah Von Dutch, who suffered a brutal beatdown at SHINE 25 at the hands of Legendary (Brandi Wine and Malia Hosaka) when she came to the defense of new SHINE Tag Team Champions Cherry Bomb and Kimber Lee.
Diva Dirt spoke to Leah about why she won’t be present at SHINE 26, getting insight into her condition post-attack:
“After Legendary had Thunderkitty cause my loss against Allysin Kay, I ran in to help Cherry Bomb and Kimber Lee. They gave me a double DDT on a chair. I was feeling fine until I took off back to Detroit on the plane. I had such a bad headache and a randomly got a bloody nose. I went to the doctor and he suggested I stay away from flying for at least 3-4 weeks. The SHINE office needed to know if I was clear that week to book my ticket, but I couldn’t give them a solid answer. So not only did Legendary cause me to lose my match, but they cost me SHINE 26 too. I’m not sure when I’ll be back, but I guarantee that Legendary won’t see it coming. The Dino Hunter will catch her prey.”
SHINE 26 will come to us live from the Orpheum in Ybor City, Florida on Friday, April 3rd at 9pm ET (2am GMT), and will be broadcast live on iPPV. To order the show, click here.
