SHINE Wrestling held its most recent event over the weekend – SHINE 62. The event took place at La Boom in Woodside, N.Y. In the main event, Shine Nova Champion, Shotzi Blackheart, and Shine Tag Team Champions Team Aye (Big Swole & Aja Perera) retained their titles. The match was booked as “all titles on the line.”
The three of them teamed up to face Shine Champion, Allysin Kay, Marti Belle, and Jayme Jameson. Blackheart would pick up the win for her team as she pinned Jameson. As a result of this ending, Kay has challenged Blackheart for a title vs. title match tonight at EVOLVE 140.
