Shotzi Blackheart explains she meant no offence when joking about Chris Jericho

Shotzi Blackheart has responded to Chris Jericho’s response to her tweet she posted about the heavily criticized bump at AEW’s Blood and Guts.

At the WarGames style event, Jericho took a dive off the top of the cage and onto the ramp that was clearly padded. The bump received the meme treatment online from fans and the ‘ballsy bad-ass’.

Blackheart playfully poked fun at the moment by posting a GIF on Twitter showing someone falling back onto a bed.

In response to the tweet Jericho said:

“Best of luck to anybody in our business, and anybody that bags on somebody who’s taking a chance and putting their bodies on the line can really f*ck off, especially people in the business.

“I could say some names. There’s a couple of chicks in WWE who said some stuff and they should probably not have said that. They probably weren’t trained any better, and in 6 months they’ll probably be asking us for a job anyways and I’ll remember that, so we’ll leave it at that.”

Speaking with Alex McCarthy on TalkSPORT Blackheart spoke about the heat with Jericho.

Here’s what Blackheart had to say:

“I meant no offense to Chris Jericho. I thought, honestly, the match was great. But, you know what… like, take a joke, Take a joke, bud! It’s just a GIF. Laugh at it and move on. It’s live TV. Things happen, it’s pro wrestling. Don’t take life too seriously is all I have to say.”

Blackheart made her SmackDown debut last month along with Tegan Nox. Shotzi and Nox have an opportunity to win the women’s tag team titles but will have to wait while Natalya recovers from an ankle injury.
