No matter what WWE has done to make NXT an equal part to both SmackDown and RAW, many people still feel that it is developmental. Even with certain wrestlers as Charlotte Flair and Ember Moon having time back with NXT, most see moving to either the red or blue brand as their goal. Shotzi Blackheart played into this theory by stating that some talent wants to move on from NXT.
While speaking exclusively to GIVEMESPORT, Blackheart has said, “The main roster is the main goal. That’s why we’re at NXT. So every time someone moves up to the main roster it’s awesome.”
As for who Blackheart sees moving on from the black and gold brand next, it is Rhea Ripley. Ripley has done a lot between both NXT & NXT UK and although she is still dominating her matches, there may not be much left for her to do where she is at.
Blackheart says, “I think Rhea Ripley [will be called up next]. I don’t know what’s taking so long, honestly! She belongs up there, she’s a superstar. I think very soon she’ll be gone.
“That makes me sad because she’s one of my favourite tag team partners, but she deserves it!”
Asuka has also gone on record earlier in the year by saying that she would love to face Ripley.
