Other than a spot in the 2022 Royal Rumble back in January, SmackDown talent Shotzi hasn’t competed in a match on WWE programming. In fact, the last time she was on television was on the Dec. 17 episode of SmackDown in a tag team bout. Since then she worked some live shows throughout December but hasn’t worked a match in 2022 other than the Royal Rumble.
In a video posted by Mondragon Chiropractic, Shotzi spoke about the pain she had been experiencing in her lower back. She did confirm that she has been feeling much better than she was a month ago.
Talking about what pain she has been dealing with, “Right now, my lower back. I actually got x-rays on it. It’s nothing crazy, but they said that my pelvic bone is tilted forward. They’ve been giving me rehab exercises and stuff. I’m way better than a month ago, for sure.”
She continues answering about her pain level, “Ten. It was pretty bad. I had a match and then I woke up the next morning and it was really hard for me to get up. I slid off of the bed onto the floor and I couldn’t even put pressure onto my knees or crawl. I’ve been off for a little bit.” [h/t – Fightful]
Shotzi is a former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion and has been on the SmackDown since last July.
