A six woman tag team match has been announced for SmackDown’s upcoming PPV event Backlash.
As seen on tonight’s episode of SmackDown, Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair and the SmackDown Women’s Champion Naomi will team up to take on Carmella, Natalya and Tamina, who have collectively become known as ‘The Welcoming Committee’.

After being defeated by Natalya, Becky Lynch found Naomi and Charlotte arguing backstage but took a moment to emphasize to them the importance of bonding among each should they plan on defeating the Welcoming Committee at Backlash.
The card for this year’s Backlash is now as follows:
- WWE Title Match: Randy Orton (c) vs. Jinder Mahal
- SmackDown Tag Team Title Match: The Usos (c) vs. Tyler Breeze and Fandango
- WWE United States Title Match: Kevin Ownes (c) vs. AJ Styles
- Six Woman Tag Team match: Naomi, Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch vs. Natalya, Tamina Snuka and Carmella
Backlash takes place live Sunday, May 21st at 8pm ET on the WWE Network.
