Tonight at Slammiversary, Awesome Kong and Brooke take on Jade, Marti Bell and Taryn Terrell of The Dollhouse. Can Brooke and Kong overcome their numbers disadvantage? The Diva Dirt team weighs in:
Chris: Looking forward to this! Kong and Brooke make a super fun team and the Dollhouse has been amazing since forming. Since the title isn’t on the line I’m going with Awesome Kong & Brooke to pick up the win.
Cryssi: Every single person who reads this website knows how I feel when it comes to TNA, or whatever it is that they call themselves now. I don’t hide my feelings. They rarely do anything right except for when it comes to the Knockouts. I respect all five women in this match, for various reasons. They’ve all been supporters of our site and I’m proud to call one them my friend. So of course I’m going for my friend and her team to win this match. The Dollhouse are going to absolutely destroy it tonight and I can’t wait to see what they put together against the equally impressive team of Kong and Brooke. This will be the first TNA match I will have watched in a while and believe it or not, I’m actually super excited for it.
Erin: Not gonna like, it’s hard not to blurt out spoilers for future Impact episodes when predicting this match. Fortunately, though, it’s not completely clear how we get there, so this match isn’t as predictable as you’d think. Each team has things working in their favor: The Dollhouse are on defense, which wrestling logic would dictate means they’ll win tonight. However, Kong and Brooke are the underdogs since they’re outnumbered, so they also have that “battling back” aspect to them. Which one cancels out the other? I’m going to go with the numbers game angle, as two babyfaces beating three heels would give Slammiversary a clear “feel good moment”. Awesome Kong & Brooke for the win.
Jack: I see TNA giving Kong and Brooke momentum towards their title opportunities on next week’s Impact. I see Brooke getting the pin too as she is the only to pin a Dollhouse member so far. The team of Awesome Kong & Brooke for the win!
Josue: 2015 has been a tremendous year for the Knockouts. We’ve see surprise returns this alone with Brooke after being MIA for almost all of last year and the return of Awesome Kong whom we thought we would never see in a TNA ring. Then there’s the debut of Jade and Marti Bell who aligned with a newly Heel turned Taryn Terrell to form the Dollhouse. Despite the black cloud that tends to follow TNA, the annual Slammiversary this year, will take all of these different elements from the Knockouts into one match. The Dollhouse trio have made quite the impact since they’ve come together and while Brooke and Kong may have beaten them once, I think with the presence of their leader, The Dollhouse will be victorious this time around.
