It’s a new year and we have already gone through the first Raw and NXT of the year and now it is time for SmackDown’s first show.
At the time of this writing, there is nothing officially announced for the women but the Royal Rumble is right around the corner. With Toni Storm leaving the company since the last live show, this leaves a new challenger needed for Charlotte Flair and the SmackDown Women’s Title.
Sasha Banks has been working house shows with Flair. She was last reported as having a sprained leg after her injury last weekend.
We still have the Sonya Deville and Naomi saga which is surrounded by Shayna Baszler and Nataly helping out Deville and Xia Li helping Naomi. Natalya was last seen warning Xia Li in a promo two weeks ago.
