We are getting closer and closer to WWE’s premium live event, Money in the Bank.
Last week on the SmackDown side of things we saw Lacey Evans qualify for the annual women’s ladder match by defeating Xia Li. Joining Ms. Evans in the match will be Alexa Bliss and Liv Morgan who both qualified earlier this week on Monday Night Raw in a tag match against Nikki A.S.H. and Doudrop.
On last week’s show, the SmackDown Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey made an appearance to come out and talk trash about The B.O.A.T Natalya only to be interrupted by Shotzi which resulted in a Championship Contender match. Shotzi gave Ronda all she had but in the end, it was Ronda who came out on top. Post Match Natalya attacked the champion and put her in a sharpshooter. Will Ronda be looking for retaliation tonight?
Earlier today it was announced that Stephanie McMahon will be Interim CEO/Chairman as Vince McMahon is stepping down due to the allegations and investigation against him. For more information on that, you can click here. Vince will be in attendance for SmackDown tonight and is rumored to be featured in his character role.
