Tonight’s a big night. WWE is back in front of fans from here on out and SmackDown is the first show to do so. Heading into the weekend, this is the last show before the Money in the Bank pay-per-view event that takes place this Sunday.
SmackDown Women’s Champion Bianca Belair is ready to put her championship on the line on tonight’s show as she takes on Carmella. Her original opponent was planned to be Bayley in an “I Quit” Match at Money in the Bank but Bayley is now out with an injury. She now has to face Carmella who is on the hunt to become a two-time SmackDown Women’s Champion.
With this change of plans, Carmella was removed from the Money in the Bank match. Since her removal, Liv Morgan, Natalya, and Tamina have been added. The eight-woman Money in the Bank Ladder Match is now ready to take place this Sunday. What will we see tonight with the last moments heading into this weekend’s event?
Speaking of the Women’s Tag Team Champions, Natalya and Tamina were defeated last week when newcomers Shotzi and Tegan Nox made their official move to the SmackDown roster from NXT. What will we see from the newly formed team tonight?
Toni Storm from NXT had a video promo aired last week saying she was coming soon to the blue brand. Will we see her debut tonight?
With rumors swirling at who could be coming back now that WWE is back on the road, could we see anyone return tonight? Sasha Banks? Becky Lynch? Any more debuts from NXT?
