“The Boss” Sasha Banks returned last week on SmackDown and her initial intent proved that she had the back of the SmackDown Women’s Champion Bianca Belair.
Banks originally returned and saved Belair from an attack brought on by Carmella and Zelina Vega. This turned into a tag team match for the main event. After Banks secured the victory for her team, she turned on the SmackDown Women’s Champion which solidified that she is not over her WrestleMania loss and that she wants the title back.
What will Belair have to say tonight one week removed from the attack?
Other goings for the SmackDown brand have included Toni Storm making her debut two weeks ago where she defeated Zelina Vega. Natalya is currently out with an injury but not expected to be gone too long while Tamina is holding down the Women’s Tag Team Titles until then.
Prior to Natalya being injured, the tag champs had been winning on RAW but when it comes to SmackDown they hold two losses to Shotzi and Tegan Nox who recently was called up from NXT. Liv Morgan hasn’t been on television since Money in the Bank, hopefully, she will get some screen time on tonight’s show.
