As we build towards the TLC pay-per-view that will take place one week from Sunday, Carmella is the challenger for the SmackDown Women’s Title. She has been a pain for the champ, Sasha Banks, for week’s and the two will meet one-on-one for the first time at the aforementioned event.
Tonight the tension builds as the two will have a contract signing.
We will also see a follow up from last week on Talking Smack where The Riott Squad challenged Billie Kay. Since moving to SmackDown, Kay has been primarily focused on her resume skills to find where she best fits. She has to find herself a tag partner tonight.
When things such as a mystery partner happen it isn’t a good idea to get your hopes to far high. Generally it is just someone random on the roster. Tamina is the only active member of the blue brand roster who isn’t involved in a storyline at the moment. They could pull Natalya away from Bianca Belair/Bayley feud because she seems to just be an addition for those two women to build their rivalry.
