This week’s Friday Night SmackDown has several moments that could be followed up from what took place last week. There hasn’t been anything officially announced by WWE for the women, but we will go with what transpired last week.
Toni Storm finally got a match with Charlotte Flair. It was a contenders match and if she would have beaten Flair she would be in line for a shot at the SmackDown Women’s Title. Storm did beat Flair, but via disqualification as Flair wouldn’t let up on her attack.
With the Day 1 pay-per-view only a few weeks away, will Storm get her title match?
Naomi was supposed to have a match against Sonya Deville one-on-one. We achieved closer status to it happening as Deville came to the ring with new ring gear and everything. Unfortunately for Naomi, Deville had her back-up in the form of Natalya and Shayna Baszler.
What Naomi did have though was the debut of Xia Li who came to the ring to help her even the odds and stand tall at the end of the segment.

Valentina Feroz & Yulisa Leon will be taking on the team of Erica Yan and Fallon Henley (Tesha Price).
Lash Legend will try to capitalize on her debut win last week as she faces the returning Sarray.
Over in AEW, Rampage will have a Submission match between Tay Conti and Penelope Ford.
