It is being reported by the Wrestling Observer that the SmackDown Women’s Championship will be determined in the main event of WrestleMania on night one. Night one of the event takes place on Saturday, April 1.
The match has been set since right after Royal Rumble when Rhea Ripley challenged the current champion, Charlotte Flair. The match-up does have its history between both women, but the lack of build has been evident from fans.
Regardless of the build, Ripley earned this championship match by winning the Royal Rumble. She entered in at number one and lasted until the end with the second entry Liv Morgan before last eliminating her.
