Sol Ruca becomes the number one contender for the WWE Women’s Speed Championship.
On the April 10 episode of Speed on the X platform, Sol Ruca defeated Michin to get the future opportunity. She avoided a cannonball by Michin and hit the Sol Snatcher to get the victory. Candice LeRae has been the Women’s Speed Champion since its inception back in October. She has successfully retained the title against Natalya and Zoey Stark. The WWE Speed titles alternate matches between the women and the men monthly.
Ruca’s last championship opportunity was against Chelsea Green for the Women’s United States Title on NXT during the March 18 episode. As of April 9, Ruca qualified to enter the NXT Women’s North American Championship Ladder Match at Stand & Deliver later this month. She defeated Jazmyn Nyx to qualify.
