We’re LIVE from the Capitol Wrestling Center, and tensions are high as next week’s Champion vs. Champion clash between Stephanie and Giulia looms. Rumors have been swirling that this will be a title unification match. It was even said by commentary multiple times that it is unification and still somehow remains unclear. Given the live thread reaction last night, this decision wouldn’t exactly be a home run with fans. For now, we’ll see how things unfold. Let’s get into the action.
Chelsea Green & Piper Niven vs. Zaria & Sol Ruca
Chelsea starts off cocky, slapping Sol Ruca and shoving her—bold move. Sol fires back with a slap of her own and an X-Factor for an early near-fall. Green wisely retreats and tags in Piper, prompting Sol to tag in Zaria for the showdown. They size each other up, and Zaria tries to step to Piper, but Niven powers out. They trade failed bodyslam attempts before colliding with a double headbutt that leaves neither woman fazed. Piper charges and finally bowls over Zaria, but her celebration is cut short as Zaria pops up and levels her with a clothesline.
Sol tags back in and goes for a springboard splash, but Piper sidesteps and traps her in the corner. Green tags in, whips Sol into the ropes, and—bam—Sol collides with Piper, allowing Green to hit a thrust kick for two. Chelsea takes control, grounding Sol and tagging in Piper for some heavy-duty offense. Niven misses an elbow drop, and Sol manages to tag in Zaria, who lights up the ring with a pump kick. Sol and Zaria hit a high-low combo, but Green breaks up the pin. Chaos erupts as Green gets tossed outside, Sol dives onto her, and Piper flattens both with a senton as we head to break.
Back from commercial, Green is working over Sol, yanking her to the mat to cut off a comeback. Piper tags in, goes for a suplex, but Sol counters with a roundhouse kick. She scrambles for the tag, but Green yanks Zaria off the apron! Piper splashes Sol in the corner, ragdolls her across the ring, and hits another splash. Green tags back in, but Sol uses the moment to push them both away, hitting a high crossbody before finally getting the hot tag to Zaria.
Zaria explodes in, throwing German suplexes at Chelsea like confetti at a wedding. Piper resists, but Zaria spears her! She follows up with another spear to Green—cover, but it’s only two! She hoists Chelsea up, but Niven saves her partner. All four women in now, and Piper delivers a crushing elbow to Zaria’s back, nearly ending it. Green, now sporting a busted nose, attempts the Unprettier, but Zaria counters. Green finds herself on Zaria’s shoulders—Sol tags in—moonsault! Cover! Niven tries to break it up, but Sol moves, and Piper ends up crushing Chelsea instead! Zaria picks up Piper and dumps her onto Green, Sol nails the Sol Snatcher, and that’s three!
Winners: Sol Ruca & Zaria
Fun, chaotic action. Sol and Zaria looked strong, and Chelsea’s busted nose aside, this was an energetic back-and-forth match with a well-earned win for the babyfaces.
Jaida Parker vs. Kelani Jordan
Jaida and Kelani waste no time jawing at each other before Jaida backs Kelani into the corner. Kelani battles back with shoulder thrusts, a snapmare, and a standing moonsault for two. She targets Jaida’s shoulder, rolling into a La Magistral for another near-fall. Jaida responds with a big back elbow and a stiff clothesline that floors Kelani.
Kelani regroups, hitting a beautiful Asai moonsault on the outside before landing a crossbody for two. Back inside, they trade counters, and Kelani goes for a split-legged moonsault—but Jaida moves! Quick roll-up by Kelani—two-count. Jaida fires back with a Samoan drop—another near-fall! She hoists Kelani up for another attempt, but Kelani escapes and locks in a crossface! Jaida struggles, but she powers through and rams Kelani into the corner.
They battle to the top rope, where Kelani tries for a superplex—Jaida fights her off! They both reposition, and—SPANISH FLY! But Jaida wisely rolls out of the ring to avoid the pin. Kelani attempts another Asai moonsault, but Jaida catches her mid-air and sends her crashing into the floor. Back inside, Jaida connects with the Hip Attack finisher, and that’s all she wrote.
Winner: Jaida Parker
Athletic showcase for both women, but Jaida’s power and cunning gave her the edge. That Spanish Fly was a thing of beauty.
Jordynne Grace vs. Cora Jade
They circle, lock up, and Grace immediately asserts dominance with a trio of headlock takedowns. Cora manages to reverse but gets launched into the ropes, eats an inverted atomic drop, and is then planted with a back suplex for two. Grace follows up with some clubbing forearms before catching Cora mid-air and slamming her down with authority.
Cora tries to use her agility to shift momentum, pulling Grace neck-first into the turnbuckle and capitalizing with a quick cover. Grace powers out and delivers some stinging chops, but Cora nails a sneaky legsweep into a springboard stomp. Grace rolls to the apron, but Cora drills her with a trio of knee strikes. As we head to break, the ref is checking on Cora after an apparent injury.
Back from commercial, and—Cora is walking away! The ref calls it, giving Grace the win.
Winner: Jordynne Grace
Unfortunate ending, but this was shaping up to be a solid bout before the injury.
Post-match, Roxy ambushes Grace backstage with a steel chair, forcing officials to step in. Meanwhile, Fatal Influence demands a rematch, but Ava brushes them off for now.
A solid show overall, but the Stephanie vs. Giulia situation remains a wildcard—if this is truly a unification match, it’s a massive decision. Personally, I hope they use this as a hook rather than an actual unification. The reaction from the live thread wasn’t great, and I can’t imagine fans being thrilled if that’s the long-term direction.
What do you think? Should Stephanie and Giulia unify the titles, or is there another route NXT should take? Sound off in the comments below!
