We reported earlier today that Viper made her debut at this weekend’s NXT UK tapings. Now, we are learning that another staple of Insane Championship Wrestling has made their debut at the tapings. That staple is none other than ICW World Women’s Champion, Kay Lee Ray.
We last saw the Mae Young Classic participant at a WWE event when she appeared in the crowd of NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool last month, alongside Jazzy Gabert. The other night, NXT UK aired a video package hyping up her debut.
At last night’s NXT UK taping, KLR made her long awaited in-ring debut with a win over Candy Floss. At tonight’s taping, she had another match; this time against Isla Dawn, where The Hardcore Daredevil retrieved another victory.
Interestingly enough, in light of her WWE debut, Kay Lee Ray will be defending her ICW Women’s Championship tomorrow night at ICW Square Go! against the NXT UK Women’s Champion, Toni Storm. It’s worth noting that WWE currently has a working relationship with ICW and so The Queen of Insanity’s latest WWE signing shouldn’t ever present a conflict with ICW’s booking.
