At the most recent NXT UK taping that took place on July 7, a number one contender match took place. The winner will be the next to challenge Meiko Satomura for the NXT UK Women’s TItle. Satomura has been the champion for almost 400-days as she defeated Kay Lee Ray for the gold in June 2021.
The number one contender match was a Fatal 4-way that included Blair Davenport, Eliza Alexander, Isla Dawn, and Amale. The only woman in this match that has not encountered Satomura for the championship is Alexander.
- Blair Davenport defeated Eliza Alexander, Isla Dawn, and Amale
It would be Davenport that comes out with the victory here and will be facing Satomura next for the gold. Davenport received two prior championship matches against the Final Boss. In their last encounter during a Street Fight, Davenport was injured which had her out of action for months until her recent return.
