Sports Illustrated is the latest major media outlet to shine a light on the WWE’s Diva Revolution, publishing an article outlining the past, present and potentially bright future of the division.

The article, which gives a brief background on the history of the Divas division, focuses mostly on three stars of the future: Becky Lynch, Charlotte and Sasha Banks.

In addition to providing biographical information on those Divas, SI spoke to NXT Assistant Head Coach Sara Del Rey, who has helped revolutionize the division from the bottom up.

Del Rey – real name Sara Amato – revealed to SI that being a trainer has been her dream job and she has no desire to step back into the role of a performer:

“It was kind of my dream job, but it didn’t exist so I didn’t know if it was possible. It all happened so perfectly—in my mind at least…Performing wasn’t my passion. It is training and being in the ring and learning just the skills it takes to perform.”

The article also touches on Charlotte and Sasha Bank’s historic main event at NXT’s Philadelphia event, revealing that Charlotte aspires to repeat the feat at none other than WrestleMania. She acknowledges that the goal is lofty, telling SI, “Why not have goals that people think are unattainable?”

Del Rey has big plans for the future as well, promising that there will be a “very bright future” for NXT’s Divas division.
