Stephanie McMahon talks WrestleMania and Evolution 2

As we embark on the 35th annual WrestleMania, there is an obvious buzz for women to main event the show for the first time. The RAW Women’s Championship Triple Threat Match between the champion Ronda Rousey, Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch is expected to close the show.

Stephanie McMahon was interviewed by The National where she commented on the status of WrestleMania’s main attraction. She did not confirm that the women will close the show, but shared her excitement of the option.

“Charlotte, Ronda and Becky could do it this year. There is so much momentum behind the story. They are so incredibly talented. I know they would deliver. But what I will say is that I hope it is the first of many.”

McMahon also touched base on the status of another all women pay-per-view this year. Many fans are on the edge of their seat wanting Evolution II to be announced. She had the following to say in regards to the possible event:

“We haven’t announced any plans yet for Evolution but we have a lot of things in the works right now.”
