Update: WrestleVotes has provided more information on the move to Amway Center in Orlando.
It has been rumored that WWE have been trying to put on their SummerSlam event in a place other than their Performance Center. As a result of the current health pandemic, WWE has been having the majority of their shows at either their Performance Center in Orlando, Fla. or their NXT home at Full Sail University. This has been the case minus a few matches that took place at other locations.
Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet is confirming that his sources say that WWE is close to finalizing the deal with Amway Center in Orlando, Fla. There is also talks that moving forward, future shows such as RAW and SmackDown may also take place there.
WrestleVotes has also confirmed this from their sources as seen in the Twitter posts below.
WWE has not confirmed this as of yet but SummerSlam is just around the corner as it is taking place on Aug. 23.
The women matches current on the card are:
Sasha Banks (c) vs. Asuka – RAW Women’s Title
Bayley (c) vs. TBD – SmackDown Women’s Title
Bayley’s opponent for her match will be determined from a Triple Branded Battle Royal that will take place this week on SmackDown.
