Sunday at SummerSlam, Divas Champion AJ Lee will put her title on the line against Paige, while Brie Bella goes head-to-head with Stephanie McMahon. Leading up to these matches, we’re taking a look back at memorable Diva moments from SummerSlam history.
Today, we’re going back to 1994, when Women’s Champion Alundra Blayze defended her title against Bull Nakano, who had Luna Vachon in her corner.
Though she was outnumbered and had a strength disadvantage, Blayze was able to pull out the victory, bridging a German suplex into a pin. Bull would eventually win the title from Blayze, ending her 342 day title reign a few months later in November.
