Survivor Series is upon us and offers two big women’s matches to look forward to. First, we have Team SmackDown, consisting of Ruby Riott, Bianca Belair, Bayley, Liv Morgan, and Natalya. They will be facing Nia Jax, Shayna Baszler, Lana, Peyton Royce, and Lacey Evans of Team RAW.
Secondly, we have the RAW Women’s Champion, Asuka taking on SmackDown Women’s Champion, Sasha Banks.
Team RAW vs Team SmackDown
The traditional five-on-five elimination matches are always good fun and this year looks to be no different. However, WWE has refrained from the RAW invading SmackDown and vice versa angle this time around.
Each team has some animosity within, which will no doubt come into play during the match. Lana, Nia Jax and the whole announce table situation will certainly be a factor on Team RAW.
On the SmackDown side, Bayley nominated herself as team captain after Natalya finally qualified by beating Tamina. During the match, there was some friction between Bayley and Bianca Belair on the commentary booth.
Speaking of Belair, this is the perfect opportunity for her to dominate and get the victory for the blue brand.
Asuka vs Sasha Banks
The champion vs champion match between Asuka and Banks will be another fantastic match from the two longtime rivals. The Boss and the Empress of Tomorrow have faced one another many times during the summer but they always put on great matches and this time around should be no different.
The fact that Carmella has attacked Sasha Banks for three consecutive weeks could play a significant role in the outcome of this match. Could we see her again at Survivor Series tonight?
