The current World of STARDOM Champion Syuri says she can see herself in one of the major wrestling companies in the United States. No stranger to wrestling the likes of Asuka and Hikaru Shida, Syuri mentioned wanting to share the ring again with them. As well as some other top names in AEW.
While speaking with MMAMania, the STARDOM champion and former MMA competitor had the following to say –
“I want people all over the world to see my professional wrestling, be moved, and give them some energy to move forward. Also to become a top wrestler, someone that people remember throughout history. Also, I would like to have a match someday with Asuka who was my rival [as Kana] in Japan.”
She continues on the thought if she were to go to AEW –
“Of course, I want to! It’s exciting and I feel the energy. I want to team up and fight with Hikaru Shida, who was my tag partner in Japan, and I would be happy if I could fight Serena Deeb, Toni Storm, and Jamie Hayter.”
Syuri made her debut in 2008 and was originally trained by Tajiri. She has held the red belt for 284-days and counting and last successfully defended against Nanae Takahashi in August. Syuri will be facing Maika in November.
