On the upcoming New Year’s Smash episode of AEW on Dec. 28, a tag team match has been set. Ruby Soho has found a partner in Willow Nightingale to team up to face Tay Melo and Anna Jay.
Since returning from the broken nose that Melo gave Soho, Soho has been seeking revenge. She was able to defeat Melo in a singles match on the Dec. 14 episode of Dynamite, Winter Is Coming but her celebration was cut short. Melo and Jay would attack Soho after the match giving them the numbers advantage.
On the Dec. 23 episode of Rampage, the TBS Champion Jade Cargill continued her winning streak by defeating VertVixen. Cargill is now 45-0 and approaching one year as TBS Champion come Jan. 5.
