The NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions are stepping back in the ring as they will be taking on a team they have been very familiar with lately. The champs, Kayden Carter & Katana Chance will be facing Ivy Nile & Tatum Paxley. At the time of this writing, the match does not state the gold is on the line.
Carter & Chance won the gold for the first time in their career a few weeks ago in a Fatal 4-way match. This was after Cora Jade turned on her partner Roxanne Perez making them vacate the championships. That four-way match also had Nile and Paxley. Could they pick up a win over the champs and put themselves in line for a title shot?
Other teams have been vying for a shot at the new champs including Yulisa Leon and Valentina Feroz. Will they have any involvement in this match?
Also set for NXT on Aug. 30 will be a mixed tag team match between Lash Legend & Pretty Deadly vs. Fallon Henley, Briggs, and Jensen.
And with Worlds Collide this weekend who will unify the NXT Women’s and NXT UK Women’s Championships? It will be either the NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose, the NXT UK Women’s Champion Meiko Satomura, or the wild card number one contender Blair Davenport. We’ll find out in a Triple Threat on Sept. 4.
