Tonight at, NXT TakeOver: Orlando, Ruby Riot makes her NXT in-ring debut when she teams up with Tye Dillinger, Roderick Strong and No Way Jose to take on Sanity (Nikki Cross, Killian Dain, Alexander Wolfe and Eric Young). Which team will stand tall by the end of the night? The Diva Dirt team weigh in:
Abir: Ruby Riot needs to make her mark, but Sanity need to be indestructible. So with that said, I’m sure Sanity will win.
Alex: I predict that Sanity are going are gonna win the tag match at TakeOver. As a stable, they have yet to make a proper mark as a unit and what bigger way to do it than on the biggest weekend of the year! The face team are just a bit too make-shift for them to make a real impact on this card, especially since Ruby Riot has no backstory at all. Let’s see the rise of a proper heel stable!
Jack:: What with this being Ruby Riot’s official debut match, there’s no way she’s losing, right? Ruby and her team will get the win. And why not give her the finish too? Nikki, you’re going down!
Josue: With so many people involved in this match, I don’t see the women getting a whole lot of ring time here. If anything, I think they’ll only be involved in the last minute or two minute with Ruby simply serving as the counter attack when Nikki Cross makes a run in. That will serve as the distraction that will give Sanity the win.
Kyle: I’ll be honest, I do not feel a ton of interest in this match. But I must say, Ruby Riot’s promo after her debut really made me feel something. It was a special debut and I have a feeling that this is a part of a long term issue that will extend beyond Takeover. However, I think that this match needs to go in the favor of Nikki Cross’ Sanity. They need momentum and a big win as a unit will do that in spades. Here’s to hoping the decision goes down to the ladies.
Matthew: My pick has to be Tye Dillinger, Roderick Strong, No Way Jose & Ruby Riot; it’s going to be entertaining.
Stephanie: Sanity should win to continue their momentum but I feel like Team Ruby will pull out a feel good victory. The feud between Sanity and the mid card is far from over though.
BREAKDOWN: 4 for Sanity, 3 for Ruby Riot/Tye Dillinger/Roderick Strong/No Way Jose.
