It is being stated by Fightful Select that Tamina has been medically cleared to return to the ring. It was previously reported that Tamina suffered an injury from a Live event in Augusta, Maine. She was out with a concussion.
This occurred in July during a tag team match. She was partnered with Sarah Logan taking on Dana Brooke and Naomi. She took an improper knee to the head from Naomi. Naomi followed up the hit with a split-legged moonsault and pinned Tamina for the win. She was helped to the back.
At the time of her injury, she wasn’t in any major storyline as she was previously in the tag team title picture with Nia Jax. When Jax went out for surgery, Tamina was primarily being used on Main Event and Live shows. Her last major match was at WrestleMania in the Women’s Tag Team Championship Fatal Four-Way.
