According to a report from TMZSports, former WWE Diva Tammy ‘Sunny‘ Sytch was allegedly involved in a fatal three-car accident last month. The police suspect she was under the influence of booze at the time of the wreck.
TMZ states –
The Ormond Beach Police Dept. spelled out the allegations against Sytch in a new traffic crash report, obtained by TMZ Sports, saying the accident happened at around 8:28 PM on March 25 on U.S. Highway 1 in Volusia County, Florida.
According to the docs, Sytch was driving a 2012 Mercedes when she crashed into the rear of a 2013 Kia Sorento that had been stopped at a stoplight.
Police in the docs say the front of the Kia then crashed into the rear of a 2011 GMC Yukon that had also been stopped at the stoplight.
Furthermore, according to police, witnesses have said that Sytch was seen “driving at a high rate of speed,” prior to striking the Kia.
Officers say the driver of the Kia was transported to a nearby hospital, where he died from injuries suffered in the wreck. Sytch was also transported to the same hospital with unknown injuries. The driver and passengers of the third vehicle sustained injuries but were said to not be transported to the hospital.
In a statement to TMZ Sports, a spokesperson for the Ormond Beach Police Dept. said they are actively investigating the crash, and say toxicology results could ultimately lead to criminal charges against Sytch.
According to the Ormand Beach Observer, the driver who was killed in the accident has been identified as 75-year old Julian Lafrancis Lasseter of Daytona Beach Shores.
“Our hearts go out to the Lasseter family that lost their loved one in such a tragic event,” Ormond Beach Police Chief Jesse Godfrey said. “Our goal at the Ormond Beach Police Department is to keep city roadways safe, so if you see a vehicle operating in a manner that leads you to believe the driver may be impaired, please don’t hesitate to call 911. You may just save someone’s life.”
Sytch has a history of DWI’s and has been arrested for at least six.
