Taya Valkyrie has been added to MLW’s upcoming Battle Riot IV event. She is booked to face Brittany Blake on June 23.

Major League Wrestling today announced Taya Valkyrie vs. Brittany Blake as MLW presents the Battle Riot at New York City’s Melrose Ballroom on June 23, featuring an MLW Fusion TV taping.
Winning championships in Mexico, Japan, and the US, Taya has distinguished herself as one of this generation’s best.

Now the two are set to collide with championship implications.

Also set for the Battle Riot IV event will be the debut of Scarlett Bordeaux. An opponent for her has not been announced.
Previous at the Kings of Colosseum event in May, Valkryie became the inaugural MLW Women’s Featherweight Champion. She defeated Holidead to become the company’s first women’s champion. The preview for Battle Riot IV says that the match between Valkyrie and Blake will have championship implications but those are not known at this time.
Blake is coming off of a win at the Kings of Colosseum event where she defeated Zoey Skye by submission.
It has finally been announced that the match between Valkyrie and Holidead to become the inaugural champion will air next week.
