Taya Valkyrie reportedly signs with WWE

The former IMPACT Knockouts Champion Taya Valkyrie has reportedly signed with WWE. According to PWInsider, the longest reigning Knockouts Champion has been signed and will be brought in to their NXT brand. According to their multiple sources, she is expected to be part of the next announced class of signees.

Triple H recently spoke saying that the next class will have the largest ratio of female talent. Generally, there are just a few women in an announced classes but this time it seems to be more. It is further being reported that Valkyrie was present backstage at last week’s NXT.

NXT has recently brought in three new signees that were a part of the first-ever Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. Within those we saw a new tag team form between Gigi Dolin ( f/k/a Priscila Kelly) and Cora Jade (f/k/a Elayna Black). Zoey Stark (f/k/a Lacey Ryan) rounded out this latest group. She was teamed with Marina Shafir during the aforementioned tournament.

Valkyrie wrapped up her time with IMPACT in January after she failed to become a two-time Knockouts Champion against Deonna Purrazzo. She was written off by “going to jail” after admitting to shooting John E. Bravo in the storyline at Rosemary‘s wedding. Valkyrie was with the company since 2017.

At this time this is considered to just be a rumor as WWE nor Taya Valkyrie have confirmed this signing.
