Yesterday it was announced that, due to a foot injury, Red Velvet won’t be able to compete in the CMLL tag team tournament on March 7th.
It is unknown at this moment how severe Red Velvet’s injury is or If she will continue with her reign as ROH Women’s World Television Champion.
La wera loca and Vendetta’s member Taya Valkyirie will be making her CMLL debut replacing Velvet to team up with Lady Frost.
Valkyrie has previously made a career for herself in México, winning the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship four times and being the longest reigning women’s champion in that promotion.
