Team Bianca Belair are the winners of this year’s WarGames match.
Belair was the first competitor in the ring for her team against Dakota Kai for Team Damage CTRL. Thanks to Rhea Ripley, Team Damage CTRL had the advantage of having the next competitor enter. That would end up being the other half of the Women’s Tag Team Champions – IYO SKY.
The tag champs would dominate over the Raw Women’s Champion until Asuka would enter. From there we had the following entries – Nikki Cross, Alexa Bliss, Bayley, Mia Yim, Rhea Ripley, and lastly Becky Lynch.
Big moments of the match included Cross with a crossbody off of the top of the cage, and SKY hitting a moonsault from the top as well. The final moments of the match took us back to SummerSlam as Belair and Lynch faced off against Damage CTRL.
Belair would take out Bayley with a KOD against the side of the cage as she would put Kai and SKY on a table. Lynch climb to the top of the cage and came crashing down with a leg drop through SKY, Kai, and the table. She pinned Kai for the victory.
The other women’s match of the night was for the SmackDown Women’s Championship. Shotzi got the biggest match of her career as she challenged the champion Ronda Rousey.
Shotzi received a lot of offense through a lot of the match. She also had to worry about Shayna Baszler on the outside which she had to take out multiple times. This also included a spot in the crowd where she hit a crossbody on Rousey and Baszler in the front row of the crowd.
Once back in the ring, Rousey would submit Shotzi with Piper’s Pit and an an arm bar to retain the championship.
