3. Meaningful Matches
I’ve lost count on how many random ass tag matches have taken place. The rest of the show get matches that are part of feuds, grudges and result in number one contenders. For the women, we get two competitors with no prior affiliation against two competitors with no prior affiliation.
If the ranking system is as important as we are lead to believe then why not make it mean something by making matches that will effect standings. Britt Baker faced Shida for such a match that effected the standings and placed Shida next in line to face Riho only to have her lose the following week in an aforementioned random ass tag match.
More matches with more meaning will give more importance to the division, which would be a step in the right direction in giving the women more exposure.
