5. Get on the mic and give us some promos
8 weeks in we are still to get a live televised promo from a female talent member. I find this unacceptable as we have had to sit through many from the male portion of the roster. To build meaningful feuds and matches then promos are essential to that. Yes, there have some decent backstage segments and interviews but nothing of note. Even the grudge match between Baker and Priestly only had a recorded segment shown online.
Shanna was given a chance to tell her amazing and heart-warming story in a well-produced segment on AEW Dark. This was followed by an outstanding promo by Big Swole that conveyed, power, emotion and attitude that needs to be shown on the regular.
The solution would be to have more of these, way, way more of these. AEW produces fantastic video interviews and segments. Everyone has a story, a struggle and a voice. Let them be told and let them be heard.
