With thanks to Cory Lockwood Photography, we now have results and pictures from Tenille‘s last match in Australia. Held on July 9 for Melbourne City Wrestling at the Thornbury Theatre, Shazza McKenzie – who had taken offense to the future WWE developmental diva’s attitude at the last show – ended up defeating her in what both girls have described as a ‘great match’. However, Tenille was gracious following the loss and the two girls shook hands. Afterward, Tenille offered her thanks to her Australian fans.
Tenille, whom has since undergone surgery on her shoulder (after incurring many dislocations to it throughout her lengthy career), has updated everyone on her status:
Thanks so much for all the messages and support! You guys are awesome :D Special thanks to my Mum and Scott for putting up with me. Surgery went well and I’ll be in hospital until tomorrow. I’m not letting anything hold me back! “Courage is being scared to death – and saddling up anyway.”
Diva Dirt would like to extend our best wishes to Tenille during her recovery period.
A recap video and pictures (that also includes shots of other women whom appeared on the same MCW show – Miss Cass, Eliza Sway and Shazza as the referee in the match between Damian Slater and Rocky Menero) are below.
