Update: Terri Runnels posted a video to her Twitter account. She explains that she forgot that her gun was in her bag when she went to the airport for her early flight.
Former WWE Diva Terri Runnels was arrested Wednesday morning at Tampa International Airport. As reported by TMZ sports, Runnels was arrested due to bringing a gun to the airport. She was “carrying a concealed firearm,” which is a class three felony.
At this moment it is reported that she is currently in custody with a $2,000 bond. The charges include up to five years in prison along with up to $5,000 in fines.
She was arrested at security checkpoint as a result for having a loaded Glock 9mm.
Runnels is best known for her time in WWE’s attitude era. She was married to Dustin Rhodes (Goldust) off-screen and served as his valet on-screen. She also served as a backstage interviewer towards the end of her tenure.
