Tessa Blanchard apologizes to fans for missing Rebellion

IMPACT’s Rebellion event kicked off last night with night one and it hosted one Knockouts match between Kylie Rae and Kiera Hogan. Rae was able to pick up a big win as she starts getting her footing in with the company. The second part of Rebellion will take place on April 28.

Originally the second nights matches were set to include Jordynne Grace defending her Knockouts Title against Taya Valkyrie and Tessa Blanchard defending her IMPACT World Title against Michael Elgin and Eddie Edwards. Neither one of these matches took place during the tapings.

Instead we will be getting Havok vs. Rosemary in a Full Metal Match which was the match type that the Knockouts Title was supposed to be defended in. As for the World Championship, there will be an announcement on the future of that belt.

Blanchard commented about not being a part of the event on her Twitter account. She first responds to Elgin’s response that she is afraid to fight him. Then she explains that she was not at the taping because she was concerned for her safety and to stay home during the current global pandemic.

It is uncertain as to what the announcement will be for the future of the IMPACT World Title, but that will be discussed on April 28.
