At NWA’s upcoming two-night event that will take place on Aug. 27 & 28, the second annual “The Burke Invitational” has been confirmed. The winner of the invitational will go on to get a shot at a title on night two. Last year was the first invitational for the women which took place at the all-women’s event, EmPowerrr. There has been no confirmation on an all-women’s event taking place this year.
Chelsea Green would win the first ten-woman gauntlet match last year by last eliminating Tootie Lynn. Green would go on to face Kamille for the NWA World Women’s Title in a losing effort.
It was reported yesterday by PWInsider that NWA plans to unveil a new title for the women soon. It will be an introduction to the Women’s Television Title. Plans say that it should be officially announced on the upcoming episode of Powerrr. For more on this, you can click here.
