The Diva Dirt team has watched hundreds of episode of wrestling television this year, as well as hundreds of live events on DVD, additionally, we’ve followed a countless number of wrestlers over the year, and reviewed tons of matches. Now, as we come to the end of 2011, we have picked the best of the best to be awarded our Writers’ Choice blue ribbons.

Mickie James
A woman that has always resonated with the crowd, in her first full year as a TNA Knockout, nothing has changed for Mickie James.
As popular as ever, Mickie continues to get the fans on side no matter who she’s facing. The top babyface Knockout in TNA this year, Mickie has fended off competition from the likes of Madison Rayne and Winter, and is now locked in a feud with Gail Kim. The Impact Zone has cheered her on through the jibes and even red mist in her face.
When it comes to the likeability factor, the country girl next door is always a hit with fans and in 2011, her popularity didn’t wane.
