LEAH VON DUTCH
Who is she?
While she may be a relative rookie in the professional wrestling world, Leah Von Dutch has managed to make quite a name for herself in a very short space of time. This Canadian has competed in several well known independent North American promotions, such as NCW Femme Fatales and CHIKARA. She even has a recent tour of Japan under her belt, as well. With her girl next door image, and an ever-growing arsenal of high-flying techniques (including a gorgeous Asai Moonsault, known as The Flying Dutchman), Leah Von Dutch is poised to make an impact in the world of professional wrestling.
Her story so far…
Leah Von Dutch’s story may not be the longest, but it is definitely a unique one. Leah won her wrestling training in a essay contest held by WWE Hall of Famer and fellow Canadian, Egde. The former WWE Champion handpicked Von Dutch to win the contest, believing in her just as someone had done him many years ago. From there, Von Dutch made her way to Squared Circle Wrestling to train under Rob Fuego, who was also a trainer for TNA Knockout Gail Kim and former Knockout Traci Brooks and Angelina Love. Leah also trained under former TNA Knockouts Champion, Taylor Wilde.
Why we chose her:
With her combination of looks, skills and passion, it’s obvious that Leah Von Dutch is brimming with potential and is ready for her big break in the wrestling world. Not to mention, it can’t hurt to have a former Knockouts Champ and a WWE Hall of Famer as references. If she can keep the same pace in the coming year as she did in 2012, we’re sure that 2013 could be Leah Von Dutch’s breakout year.
