The Kabuki Warriors have laid out a challenge to the Women’s Tag Team Champions and they have accepted. Next week on RAW we will see Sasha Banks and Bayley defend their tag team gold against Asuka & Kairi Sane. The Golden Role Models had their issues all throughout RAW this week as the Kabuki Warriors had their numbers.
In an impromptu match, Banks faced Sane. That match would end in a win for Sane via disqualification as Bayley would interfere to save her best friend. Banks was perhaps mere seconds away from tapping out as Sane had a unique Boston Crab submission locked in.
Later on in the night during the main event, the advertised Champion vs. Champion match would take place. RAW Women’s Champion Asuka would pull out this win against SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley.
As the Asuka Lock was applied to Bayley, Banks tried to break it up but Sane thwarted her advances and the two rolled out of the ring. Bayley was able to get on her feet and break the lock, but Asuka would end up getting the pin.
Bayley has her SmackDown Women’s Title on the line against Nikki Cross at Extreme Rules on July 19, but will she still make it past next week as a double champion?
