Hi everyone! Excuse the brevity of the recap from last night’s show, I was busy after the holiday weekend here in the states.
Rhea Ripley opened the show with all smiles and a promo. After talking about pinning Liv Morgan at Bash in Berlin, Ripley called Morgan out, but instead Dominik Mysterio made his way out. He said Morgan wasn’t there but that she would take out Ripley in their next encounter. Ripley responded with a wherever, whenever approach.
Morgan went to attack Ripley from behind but Ripley was able to fight her off for a moment. This as only before she had her foot wrapped up in the ropes. Morgan kissed her on the cheek while she was stuck as Dominik stood there laughing. Terror Twin Damian Priest made the save with Rhea selling her knee after the attack.
Mixed Tag Team Match: American Made vs. Alpha Academy
Winners: American Made picked up the victory after Ivy locked in the Dragon Sleeper to tap out Maxxine.
Post-match, Uncle Howdy emerged on the stage as all members of American Made were still in the ring. Howdy gave a promo and then was joined by the rest of the Wyatt Sicks. Next week will he an eight person tag team match between the two groups as Nikki Cross enters a ring for the first time since November.
Shayna Baszler vs. Zelina Vega
Winner: Short match with Baszler hitting Zelina with a knee to the face to pick up the win. PFC attacked Vega after the match until Lyra Valkyria ran in to make the save but still ended up getting overpowered.
Zelina Vega was backstage with Lyra Valkyria discussing their frustrations with the Pure Fusion Collective. Lyra said she had an idea seeing as how they’re in Calgary next week. (Nattie return!!!)
Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn vs. Damage CTRL
The new Tag Team Champions, Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill are out at ringside. Fyre & Dawn picked up the victory after finishing off SKY with the Gory Bomb Facebuster combo earning them a rematch for the tag team titles.
Winner: The Unholy Union
Morgan and Ripley were involved in the main event to cap off the show this week. The main event was Priest and Jey Uso vs. Finna Balor and JD McDonough. Morgan came out for the distraction to help her Judgment Day boys, but Ripley’s music hit. She came out with a crutch due to the “injury” she sustained from Morgan earlier in the night. Morgan mocked Ripley for it as she pretended to have a crutch herself.
Ripley proved to not be as “injured” as she was acting and went after Morgan with the crutch as a weapon. She chased her out from the ring area to which Morgan ran through the crowd.
